Where I Shop

The following merchants are where I get my supplies from. They have the best prices, and in most cases, the fastest service available on the internet. If you find someplace else that can beat them, feel free to drop me a note! So far, for what I do, these are the best.

Shop4Tech.com

Shop4Tech.com is where I purchase most of my supplies, including Premium DVD cases, CD and DVD disks. They also have some of the best prices on DVD Burners, and many other useful computer items.

I use Taiyo Yuden CD's exclusively and Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim DVD's. These are professional grade disks that are very reasonably priced. The Taiyo Yuden CD's are the only CD-R's that will play consistently in my Jeep's finicky CD player!

The thing that I like best about Shop4Tech.com is that most everything listed has the cost of shipping included. You know what the total cost is before getting through checkout!

Office Depot

Office Depot is the best place to get double sided glossy brochure paper for my Epson R200's. I've used HP brochure paper before, but you have to print using the DVD setting on the Epson's to get the ink to stick. This causes printed colors to output incorrectly.

The Office Depot brochure paper is inexpensive, and using the regular Glossy Photo Paper setting with a +3 on the magenta gives this paper a fabulous look! Best of all, the ink does not smear. After a few minutes it almost passes the "lick test" (yes...I have ended up with a black tongue during a lick test!).

Meritline.com

Meritline.com has many great deals, so they are definitely worth checking when you need to purchase supplies. However, they do not ship their CD and DVD cases well, so I would not recommend them for these items
